💰 Pricing 📊 Results ⚙️ How It Works 📦 Packages

How much do your services actually cost per month?

+

We have three fixed-price packages:

  • Base Package: $599/month – Brand awareness and audience growth for service businesses, hospitality, and retail
  • Lead Gen Package: $898/month – Base Package + lead generation tools with CRM integration for builders, tradies, and professional services
  • E-Commerce Package: $998/month – Base Package + product catalog integration, dynamic retargeting, and conversion optimization for online stores

These prices cover all our services for businesses spending up to $5,000/month on ads. If you're spending more than that, reach out and we'll create a custom plan for you.

Note: Our management fee is separate from your ad spend. You pay Meta directly for the ads themselves.

What's included in the monthly fee?

+

Your monthly fee covers everything we do to run your ads:

  • Ad creation – We take your existing social media content (photos, videos) and turn them into professional ads
  • Ad copywriting – We write all the text for your ads based on your business and what you're promoting
  • Audience targeting – We build and refine your target audience to reach the right people
  • Campaign setup – Complete Facebook & Instagram ad campaign structure and optimization
  • Daily monitoring & optimization – We check your ads daily and make adjustments to improve performance
  • A/B testing – We test different ad variations to find what works best
  • Monthly reporting – Clear reports showing what you spent, what results you got, and what we're doing next

What we don't do: We don't create original content from scratch (like photoshoots or graphic design). We use the photos and videos you're already posting on social media. This is how we keep our prices affordable compared to agencies that charge $2,500-$5,000+ per month.

How much should I spend on the actual ads (not your fee)?

+

We work with businesses spending anywhere from $300 to $30,000+ per month on ads. The sweet spot for most small businesses is between $1,000 and $3,000 per month in ad spend.

Here's how to think about it:

  • $300-$800/month – Good for testing, local businesses with small target areas, or very niche products
  • $1,000-$2,000/month – Ideal starting point for most small businesses. Enough budget to test, learn, and see meaningful results
  • $2,000-$5,000/month – Strong growth budget. You'll see faster results and can target multiple audiences or locations
  • $5,000+/month – Scaling mode. Contact us for custom pricing and dedicated management
Our fixed pricing covers ad spends up to $5,000/month. One of our ad managers has even run campaigns for companies spending $10,000+ per day. We've got the experience—Honest Ads just focuses on making professional Facebook & Instagram advertising accessible to small and medium businesses.

You pay your ad spend directly to Meta (Facebook/Instagram), not to us. We never touch your ad budget.

Is there a minimum contract or can I cancel anytime?

+

You can cancel anytime—there are no lock-in contracts. You pay month-to-month, and your payment each month covers our services for that month.

How cancellation works: If you cancel midway through a month, we'll continue running your ads until the end of that period (unless you tell us to stop immediately), then we'll remove our access. Simple as that.

3-Month Minimum Request: While there's no contract, we do ask that clients commit to at least 3 months. Here's why: it takes 1-2 months to properly build your target audience and dial in the settings. Early results don't represent what we're capable of until that audience establishment phase is complete. Think quality over quantity—we're building a foundation that delivers long-term results.

After those initial 2-3 months? That's when the magic really starts to happen and you'll see the full potential of your ads.

What kind of results can I realistically expect?

+

Let's be completely honest here: we cannot and will not promise specific results. Anyone who guarantees you a certain ROI or number of leads is either lying or setting you up for disappointment.

Here's what actually affects your results:

  • Your product or service – Is there genuine demand for what you offer?
  • Your pricing – Are you competitively priced for your market?
  • Your competition – How many others are advertising similar offerings?
  • Your location – Some areas have more engaged audiences than others
  • Your content quality – Better photos and videos generally perform better
  • Seasonality – Some times of year are naturally better for certain businesses

What we've seen: E-commerce stores getting 12x, 15x, sometimes even 20x returns is achievable—we've seen it happen. But it all depends on the factors above. Some businesses see amazing returns, others see steady growth. It's unpredictable, and we won't pretend otherwise.

What we CAN promise: Professional management, daily optimization, honest reporting, and our best effort to get you the best results possible within your budget and market conditions.

Different packages have different focuses: The Base Package prioritizes audience growth and brand awareness (which leads to more sales over time). The Lead Gen and E-Commerce packages directly target conversions—sales and leads specifically.

How long until I see results?

+

You'll see an immediate spike in stats within the first week or two—more reach, more clicks, more engagement. That's the easy part.

The real results take 1-2 months to properly establish. Here's why:

When we start your ads, we're not just throwing them out there randomly. We're building a high-intent audience—people who are actually likely to care about your business and take action. This audience establishment phase is unavoidable if you want quality results, not just vanity metrics.

Timeline breakdown:
  • Week 1-2: Initial data collection. You'll see traffic and engagement spike.
  • Month 1: Testing phase. We're learning what works for your specific business.
  • Month 2: Optimization phase. We dial in the audience and refine the ads.
  • Month 3+: Growth phase. This is when the magic really starts to happen. Your audience is established, ads are optimized, and results compound.

Think quality over quantity. We're building a foundation for long-term success, not just a short-term traffic spike. Once that audience is established and the settings are dialed in, that's when you'll see the full potential.

This is why we ask for that 3-month minimum—early results simply don't represent what we're capable of until that initial phase is complete.

Do you work with businesses in my industry?

+

We work with 20+ industries across small businesses in New Zealand and Australia. If you're a consumer-facing business, we've probably worked with someone like you.

Here's who we work with:

Service Businesses (Base Package): Hair salons, beauty salons, makeup artists, cafés, restaurants, catering, personal trainers, gyms, yoga studios, retail stores

Lead Generation Businesses (Lead Gen Package): Builders, plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers, physiotherapists, dentists, real estate agents, accountants

Online Stores (E-Commerce Package): Shopify stores, WooCommerce sites, any e-commerce business selling products online

Don't see your industry listed? Get in touch and we'll let you know if we're a good fit. Generally, if you're selling to consumers (B2C) rather than only to other businesses (B2B), Facebook and Instagram ads can work for you.

What's the difference between your packages (Base, Lead Gen, E-Commerce)?

+

All three packages are designed for businesses spending under $5,000/month on ads. Here's what makes each one different:

BASE PACKAGE ($599/month):

This is the foundation. It's designed to get your business out of what I call the "engagement loop"—where you're getting likes and comments on every post, but it's the same people every month and your audience isn't actually growing.

What it does: Builds your audience with the right people. Increases brand awareness. Drives engagement and growth. This will result in more sales or leads over time, but that's not the direct priority—we're building your business presence.

Can you run ads for sales or new products? Yes, absolutely. But the primary goal is awareness, engagement, and audience growth—not direct conversions.

Best for: Service businesses, hospitality, retail stores, anyone focused on building a local presence and growing their following.

LEAD GEN PACKAGE ($898/month):

This is Base Package + lead generation tools. It's specifically focused on generating leads—not just awareness.

What's added: CRM integration, lead capture forms, call tracking, conversion optimization for enquiries and bookings.

The difference: We're not just building awareness—we're actively optimizing to get people to fill out forms, make calls, or book appointments.

Best for: Builders, tradies, professional services, anyone who needs qualified leads and enquiries.

E-COMMERCE PACKAGE ($998/month):

This is Base Package + e-commerce tools. It's specifically focused on driving online sales.

What's added: Product catalog integration (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.), dynamic product ads, abandoned cart retargeting, collection ads, conversion optimization for purchases.

The difference: We're showing people the exact products they viewed on your site. We're retargeting cart abandoners. We're optimizing for purchases, not just traffic.

Best for: Online stores, e-commerce businesses, anyone selling products online.

Simple version: Base builds your audience. Lead Gen gets you enquiries. E-Commerce gets you sales. All three include professional ad management—the difference is what we're optimizing for.

Will I have access to my ad account and see what you're doing?

+

Yes, absolutely. You own your ad account and all your data—always. We just have access to manage it while we work together.

You can log into Facebook Ads Manager anytime and see exactly what we're doing: what ads are running, how much you're spending, what results you're getting. Full transparency.

Onboarding Process: We're super security-focused. No password swaps. No making us admins of your personal accounts. That's all sketchy.

Instead, we'll walk you through setting up what Meta calls a "Business Portfolio" and granting us access through that via email with detailed step-by-step instructions. You stay the admin and owner of all assets and ad data. We just have access while we work together.

Need help? A member of our team can always jump on a call to walk you through it if you get stuck. But most clients find the email instructions clear and straightforward—it's actually easier than you'd think.

You also get monthly reports from us with clear breakdowns of performance, but you're never in the dark—you can check your account whenever you want.

Do I need to provide the photos/content or do you create everything?

+

You provide the content—we use what you're already posting on social media. This is a key part of how we keep our prices so much lower than traditional agencies.

Here's how it works:

  • We take the photos and videos you're already posting on Instagram, Facebook, or have in your phone
  • We write professional ad copy to match your content and what you're promoting
  • We might add titles, offer text, or call-to-action buttons to make them work better as ads
  • We set up the targeting, optimize the campaigns, and make them work

What we don't do: We don't do photoshoots, create graphics from scratch, or produce original video content. That's expensive and time-consuming—which is why agencies charge $1,500+ per month just for creative work.

Why this works: Most small businesses already have great content—they just don't know how to turn it into effective ads. That's where we come in. We handle the ad setup and targeting (the magic dust that makes ads actually work), and you provide the raw materials.

Don't have good photos? We can work with what you have. Not every ad needs to be a professional photoshoot—often, authentic content performs better anyway.

What if the ads don't work? Do I get a refund?

+

No, we don't offer refunds. Here's why that's actually reasonable:

You're paying month-to-month with no lock-in contract. If the ads aren't working after giving them a proper chance (remember, 2-3 months to properly establish the audience), you can cancel. But we can't refund work that's already been done.

Think of it this way: At $599-$998 per month, we're already offering professional ad management at a fraction of what agencies charge ($2,500-$5,000+ per month). At this price point, we simply can't offer free trials or money-back guarantees—the numbers don't work.

But here's what you DO get:
  • No long-term contracts—cancel anytime after your first 3 months
  • Full transparency—you can see everything we're doing in your ad account
  • Professional management by experienced ad managers who've run campaigns spending $10K+ per day
  • Honest communication—we'll tell you if things aren't working and what we're doing to fix it

Our track record speaks for itself—the testimonials on our homepage are real businesses getting real results. But we're honest about the fact that advertising has variables we can't control (your product, pricing, market demand, etc.).

How is this different from hiring a marketing agency?

+

The short answer: We're way cheaper because we specialize in one thing and do it really well.

Traditional agencies charge $2,500-$5,000+ per month and require:

  • Long-term contracts (6-12 months minimum)
  • Additional fees for creative work (photoshoots, graphic design)
  • Setup fees and onboarding costs
  • They manage multiple platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.)

We charge $599-$998 per month and offer:

  • Month-to-month (cancel anytime after 3 months)
  • No extra fees—one fixed price
  • We specialize in Meta (Facebook & Instagram) only
  • We use your existing content (no expensive creative production)
How can we be so much cheaper? Simple: We don't create content from scratch. Agencies charge $1,500+ per month just for creating ad creatives (usually generic copy-paste templates anyway). We skip that entirely by using the content you're already posting on social media. Our costs reflect that, which lets us charge way less while providing a better service—because we only do what we're actually good at: running ads.

The result: You get professional ad management at a fraction of the cost. We're not jacks-of-all-trades trying to do everything—we just run Meta ads, and we do it damn well.

Can I run ads for multiple locations/stores?

+

Yes, absolutely. We can target different locations with separate campaigns or run broader campaigns that cover multiple areas.

Things to consider:

  • Ad spend will need to be higher – More locations means more audiences to reach, so you'll need a bigger budget to get meaningful results in each area
  • We can prioritize certain locations – If one store is more important, we can weight the budget accordingly
  • Reporting can be location-specific – We can show you which locations are performing best

Our fixed pricing still applies regardless of how many locations you're targeting. The main variable is your ad spend—you'll just need more of it to effectively reach multiple areas.

Do you guarantee a specific ROI or number of leads?

+

No, we don't guarantee specific results—and neither should anyone else. Here's the truth:

Anyone who guarantees you'll get "X number of leads" or "Y% ROI" is either:

  • Lying to get your business
  • Going to disappoint you when they don't deliver
  • Violating Meta's advertising policies (which actually prohibit guaranteed results)

Why guarantees are impossible:

Results depend on too many factors outside our control: your product quality, your pricing, market demand, competition, seasonality, your website's conversion rate, how quickly you respond to leads, etc.

What we can guarantee:
  • Professional ad management by experienced specialists
  • Daily monitoring and optimization of your campaigns
  • Honest, transparent reporting on what's working and what's not
  • Our best effort to get you the best results possible within your budget and market conditions

We've seen businesses get 12x, 15x, even 20x returns. We've also seen businesses where it takes longer to find what works. We're honest about both possibilities—and we'll work hard to put you in the first category.

What happens if I pause or cancel my service?

+

You can cancel anytime—here's exactly what happens:

If you cancel midway through a month, we'll continue running your ads until the end of that billing period (unless you specifically tell us to stop immediately). Then we'll remove our access to your account.

What you keep:

  • Your ad account – It's yours, you own it
  • All your data – Performance history, audience insights, everything stays with you
  • Your audiences – Any custom audiences or lookalike audiences we built
  • Your pixel data – All the tracking and conversion data

What stops:

  • We stop creating new ads and monitoring your campaigns
  • Your ads will continue running until you turn them off or they spend their budget
  • You can keep running ads yourself or hire someone else—it's your account
Pausing instead of cancelling: Need to take a break for a slow season? Just let us know. We can pause your service and restart when you're ready. No problem.

Remember: While there's no lock-in contract, we do ask for a 3-month minimum commitment so we have time to properly build and optimize your campaigns. Cancelling earlier means you might not see the full potential of what we can achieve.

Do you handle Instagram and Facebook or just one?

+

We handle both Facebook and Instagram—because they're the same platform.

Meta (formerly Facebook Inc.) owns both Facebook and Instagram. When you run ads through Facebook Ads Manager, they automatically run across both platforms. You don't choose one or the other—you get both.

How it works:

  • We set up one campaign in Facebook Ads Manager
  • Meta automatically shows your ads on both Facebook and Instagram
  • The system decides which platform to show each ad on based on where it's likely to perform best
  • You can also see it on Messenger, Facebook Stories, Instagram Stories, and the Audience Network if we enable those placements

Can you choose just Facebook or just Instagram? Yes, technically we can limit it to one platform if you want, but we usually don't recommend it. Letting Meta show ads on both platforms gives you more reach and often better results.

How do you track if my ads are actually bringing in customers?

+

All our tracking is done through Meta's built-in tools—primarily the Meta Pixel.

How tracking works:

  • Meta Pixel – A small piece of code on your website that tracks visitor actions (views, add-to-carts, purchases, form submissions, etc.)
  • Conversion tracking – We set up specific events to track (purchases, bookings, enquiries, downloads)
  • Attribution – Meta shows us which ads led to which conversions
  • Reporting – You get monthly reports showing exactly what results came from your ads
Important note: If you're an e-commerce store (E-Commerce Package) or lead generation business (Lead Gen Package) and need extra tracking like pixel setup or integrations, we can walk you through it step-by-step. However, we won't do this ourselves—you'll need to install it or have your web developer do it.

For E-Commerce Package clients, this includes connecting Shopify or WooCommerce to Meta to sync your product catalog and get detailed sales data.

What you'll be able to see:

  • How many people clicked your ads
  • How many visited your website
  • How many made a purchase or submitted a form
  • Your cost per result (cost per purchase, cost per lead, etc.)
  • Your overall ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) for e-commerce

Can I see examples of ads you've created for other businesses?

+

Yes, we can show you examples during our initial consultation.

We don't display a public portfolio on our website (because we respect our clients' privacy and don't want competitors seeing what's working for them), but when you reach out, we can share relevant examples based on your industry.

What we can show you:

  • Ad creative examples from similar businesses (with permission)
  • Performance metrics (anonymized if needed)
  • Before/after results for specific campaigns
  • Different ad formats we use (single image, carousel, video, collection ads)

We also have real testimonials on our homepage from actual clients with their names, businesses, and results. Those are real people you could even reach out to if you wanted to verify.

Get in touch and we'll show you what we've done for businesses like yours.

What information do you need from me to get started?

+

Getting started is straightforward. Here's what we'll need:

1. Business Information:

  • Your business name, location, and industry
  • What you want to advertise (products, services, special offers)
  • Your website URL and social media profiles

2. Target Audience Details:

  • Who are your ideal customers? (age, gender, location, interests)
  • What problem do you solve for them?
  • Any geographic areas you want to focus on or avoid

3. Content & Assets:

  • Photos and videos of your products, services, or business
  • Your logo and brand colors (if you have them)
  • Any existing content you're already posting on social media

4. Budget & Goals:

  • How much you plan to spend per month on ads (the ad spend itself, not our fee)
  • What success looks like for you (more sales, more bookings, brand awareness, etc.)

5. Account Access:

  • We'll walk you through setting up a Business Portfolio in Meta
  • You'll grant us access through that (you stay the owner and admin)
  • This is the tedious security-focused part, but we'll guide you step-by-step
Don't have all this ready? That's fine. We can start with what you have and gather the rest as we go. The most important things are your business info, some content to work with, and your ad budget.

Once we have all this, we can typically have your first ads running within 7 days.

Do I need a Facebook Business Page before starting?

+

Yes, you need a Facebook Business Page to run Facebook and Instagram ads. This is a Meta requirement, not ours.

Don't have one yet? No problem—we can help you set one up. It takes about 10 minutes and it's free.

What you need:

  • A personal Facebook account (to manage the Business Page)
  • Your business name, category, and description
  • A profile picture (usually your logo)
  • A cover photo

Don't stress about having a "perfect" page before starting ads. The ads themselves don't require your page to have lots of followers or posts—we just need it to exist so we can run ads from it.

In fact, running ads will help grow your page's followers naturally as people discover your business.

Will you write the ad copy or do I need to?

+

We write all the ad copy. That's part of our service.

Here's how it works:

  • You tell us what you want to promote (new product, special offer, general awareness, etc.)
  • We write the ad text based on your business, your audience, and what works in your industry
  • We test different variations to see what resonates best
  • We refine based on performance data

Your involvement: You can review and approve ads before they go live if you want, or you can trust us to just run them. We're flexible—some clients like to be hands-on, others prefer to let us handle everything.

Important: While we write the copy, we need your input on what makes your business special, what offers you're running, and any specific messaging you want to include. We can't read your mind—we need your industry knowledge and business expertise to write effective copy.

Think of it as a collaboration: You provide the information, we craft it into scroll-stopping ad copy that actually converts.

How often will you update or change my ads?

+

We monitor and optimize your ads daily, and refresh creative every 2-4 weeks.

What "optimization" means:

  • Daily: We check performance, adjust budgets, pause underperforming ads, scale what's working
  • Weekly: We analyze trends and test new audience segments or ad variations
  • Every 2-4 weeks: We create new ads with fresh creative to prevent ad fatigue
  • Ongoing: A/B testing of different images, copy, headlines, and calls-to-action
Why the refresh schedule matters: People get tired of seeing the same ads over and over (called "ad fatigue"). When performance starts declining, we swap in new creative to keep things fresh. This is why having a steady stream of content from your social media posts is valuable—it gives us material to work with.

You're not just paying for us to "set and forget" your ads. Active management means we're in there regularly making adjustments based on what the data tells us.

Can you help with Google Ads too, or just Facebook/Instagram?

+

We only do Meta (Facebook & Instagram)—and that's by design.

We specialize in one platform so we can do it really, really well. Google Ads is a completely different beast with different strategies, different targeting, different everything.

Why we don't do everything:

  • Agencies that do "everything" are usually mediocre at all of it
  • Meta advertising alone has enough depth and nuance to master
  • Specializing lets us charge less while delivering better results
  • Our ad managers have run Meta campaigns spending $10K+ per day—that expertise comes from focus

Should you do Google Ads too? Maybe, depending on your business. But you'd need to hire someone else for that. We're Meta specialists—it's what we're good at, and it's all we do.

What if I'm already running ads myself—can you take over?

+

Yes, absolutely. In fact, this is pretty common—many of our clients tried running ads themselves first and realized it's way more complex than they thought.

Here's what we'll do:

  • Audit your current setup – We'll review what you're running and identify what's working and what's not
  • Keep what works – If you've got campaigns or audiences that are performing well, we won't throw them out
  • Fix what's broken – Poor targeting, weak creative, suboptimal settings—we'll fix it
  • Optimize everything – Even campaigns that are "working" can usually work better with proper optimization
Common issues we see when people run ads themselves:
  • Targeting too broad or too narrow
  • Not enough budget to get out of the learning phase
  • Ad creative that doesn't stop the scroll
  • Optimizing for the wrong objective
  • Not testing enough variations
  • Giving up too early before results compound

We'll take the good foundation you've built and level it up. You'll still own your account and keep all your data—we're just taking over management to improve results.

Do you work with businesses outside Auckland/Sydney?

+

Yes—we work with businesses all across New Zealand and Australia.

Everything we do is remote. You don't need to be in Auckland or Sydney (or any major city) to work with us. We've got clients in small towns and big cities across both countries.

How remote work actually works:

  • Initial consultation via email (quick and efficient)
  • Onboarding via email with detailed step-by-step instructions
  • Ongoing communication primarily via email
  • Monthly reports sent digitally
  • Optional calls available if you need specific help or prefer phone support

Your location only matters for ad targeting—if you're a local business in Dunedin, we'll target people in Dunedin. If you're a national e-commerce store, we'll target all of NZ or Australia. Simple.

The beauty of Facebook and Instagram advertising is you can reach customers anywhere, regardless of where your business is physically located.

How do I know if Facebook/Instagram ads will work for MY specific business?

+

The honest answer: We won't know for certain until we try. But here are some good indicators:

Facebook & Instagram ads tend to work well if:

  • You're selling to consumers (B2C) rather than only businesses (B2B)
  • Your product/service has visual appeal – something that looks good in photos or videos
  • You have clear target demographics – you know roughly who your customers are
  • People don't need extensive research before buying – impulse purchases or considered purchases work, but 6-month enterprise sales cycles don't
  • You're competitive on price and quality – ads won't save a bad product or overpriced service

Industries we've seen succeed:

Hair salons, beauty services, hospitality, retail, fitness, e-commerce, home services (tradies), health services, real estate, and professional services. Basically, if you're on our industry list, we've seen it work.

Red flags (might not work well):

  • Pure B2B with very niche audiences (unless it's a large niche)
  • Products/services that require extensive trust-building or long sales cycles
  • Businesses with fundamental issues (bad reviews, uncompetitive pricing, poor product-market fit)
Want to know for sure? Reach out for a free consultation. We'll honestly assess whether we think Facebook & Instagram ads are a good fit for your specific business. If we don't think it'll work, we'll tell you—we're not here to take your money if we can't deliver results.
